What is maesee?

See how your business performs when AI helps customers choose

maesee makes AI-mediated discovery and recommendation more observable.

It tests how AI systems surface, understand, recommend and represent your business, then turns those observations into a clear score, findings and practical actions.

Why maesee exists

AI is becoming another route between customers and businesses.

People can now ask AI to explain a category, compare options and recommend who to consider before they ever visit a website or search for a brand.

Most businesses have little visibility into what happens in those conversations.

That creates a new distribution problem: you can be missing, misunderstood or passed over without that lost consideration ever appearing in your existing analytics.

maesee exists to make that problem visible, so businesses can understand what is happening, identify the gaps and decide what to improve.

The goal is simple: help businesses stay discoverable, understandable, recommendable and ready for action as AI becomes a more important part of how customers choose and buy.

How it works

From your business to a clear diagnostic.

  1. Build the business context

Provide your website, business details and competitor context. We establish the key facts needed to run relevant tests, including what you offer, who it is for and the customer needs you serve.

  2. Test how AI responds

maesee tests different types of AI interaction: buyer questions that do not name your business, direct questions that test how well AI understands and represents you, and, where relevant, comparisons with competitors or alternatives.

This helps distinguish between AI simply recognising your name and actually surfacing, understanding and recommending your business when a customer is choosing.

  3. Inspect the information behind the experience

We also review relevant information your business publishes, including product facts, suitability information and customer routes.

This helps identify whether the gaps sit in observed AI behaviour, in the information available to work with, or both.

  4. Turn the evidence into a report

The observations are validated and scored using defined rules, then turned into a report showing where you stand, what the evidence says and what deserves attention.

What does maesee look at?

Five questions build the picture.

Discovery

Does AI surface your business when relevant buyers ask who to consider?

Understanding

Does AI understand what you offer, who it is for and when it is relevant?

Recommendation

Does AI recommend your business appropriately for the right customer needs?

Reliability

Can AI represent your business accurately and consistently?

Action

Can AI help a suitable customer identify the right next step?

Together, these contribute to your AI Distribution Score out of 100. Confidence in the available evidence is reported separately.

What do you get?

A report designed to help you make decisions.

Depending on the diagnostic, your findings can include:

  • AI Distribution Score and five-dimension scorecard
  • Buyer Behaviour showing where you appeared, were shortlisted and were recommended
  • competitive context from the scenarios tested
  • inaccuracies, evidence gaps and missed opportunities
  • Agent Readiness
  • priority recommendations
  • methodology and confidence

The deeper Assessment adds fuller interpretation, Competitive Intelligence, an AI Product Fact Sheet and more detailed recommendations.

What can you do with it?

Use the evidence to decide what needs to change.

maesee can help you identify where to:

  • sharpen your positioning and differentiation
  • make products, use cases and suitability clearer
  • strengthen the information AI systems can work with
  • improve quote, purchase, booking, contact or other customer routes
  • investigate where competitors are being surfaced more strongly
  • align Marketing, Product, Digital and leadership teams around the priorities that matter

What maesee does, and doesn't, tell you

maesee shows what happened with named AI models, defined scenarios and the business evidence reviewed at the time of the diagnostic.

It is not a universal AI ranking, a guarantee that AI will recommend your business or a prediction of every future AI interaction.

The aim is simpler: give you useful evidence about how your business is currently being represented and recommended, and help you decide what to do about it.
